POny dayA Pony Day is an opportunity for a child or teenager to ‘own a pony for a day’. They will experience catching their pony, grooming it, mucking out a stable and have two hours of riding. Within this day they will also learn vital skills including tack cleaning, parts of a horse and how to tack up and untack their horse.

A pony day is a perfect chance to learn how to take care of  horse as well as ride one! Every child who tales park in a pony day will receive their own rosette at the end.

The day starts at 9.00 am where they will catch their pony and groom it. Lessons and rides take place for an hour in the morning and afternoon. The day ends with the children taking their ponies back to the field and finishes at 4.00pm.

These experiences are available during the school holiday, on set dates. Please join our mailing list for full dates of the up and coming events or call 01428 712264.
